Care

How do I care for my cutting board?
Hand wash with warm soapy water, rinse, wipe dry and let it dry standing upright. Never put it in the dishwasher or leave it soaking. When the wood looks dry, apply mineral oil or board butter. See the full care guide (general guidance).

What finish do the cutting boards have?
Food-grade mineral oil and beeswax. Board butter is included with each board.

How do I care for furniture with a hard wax oil finish?
General guidance: wipe with a damp cloth, avoid harsh cleaners, and refresh the finish with a compatible maintenance oil when needed.

Will my piece look exactly like the photos?
Each piece is handmade from natural wood, so grain and colour vary.

Commissions

Can I order a custom piece?
Yes. Custom cutting boards and furniture are available – see Commissions or use the contact form.

Is engraving available?
Yes, laser engraving is available on cutting boards.

How long does a commission take, and is a deposit required?

Pickup and shipping

Can I pick up my order?
Yes – free local pickup by arrangement, in Montreal or Sainte-Anne-des-Lacs; contact us to arrange. There is no storefront.

Do you ship furniture?
No. Furniture is local pickup only (no delivery or shipping).

Do you ship cutting boards?
Cutting boards and accessories ship anywhere in Canada for a $12 flat rate. Free local pickup in Montreal or Sainte-Anne-des-Lacs, arranged after purchase. Furniture is local pickup only.

Returns

What is your return policy?
Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt for unused items in original condition. The buyer pays return shipping unless the item arrived damaged. Custom, engraved and commissioned pieces are final sale. Furniture is inspected together at pickup. Contact us to start a return. See the full refund policy.
